If you wish to charge one battery at a time, the switch should be set to "off". Charger clips will connected to the batt you wish to charge hot-to-hot and cold-to-cold. If you want to charge both batts at once (not really recommended) switch set to "all".
Tanks are marked with Hot and Cold. 1) If water connections are on top of tank, look for red marking or word HOT that shows where hot water pipe connects. Look for blue marking or word COLD that shows cold water connection. 2) If water connections are on side of tank, cold water connects to bottom one, and hot connects to top.
3) If hot and cold are reversed, the tank will not work. Pipes on top of tank: cold water enters tank and is sent to bottom of tank in a long tube called the dip tube. This means the cold is on the bottom since hot water rises to the top. The hot water exits top of tank. Pipes on side of tank: You want cold water to enter bottom, so hot water naturally rises to the top outlet.
If it is a new water heater it might be that the water supplies are crossed. The cold water should be installed on the right hand side of the tank or on the bottom if your tank hooks up on the side. If its an older water heater the dip tube may have broken off. This is a tube that runs from the top of your water heater on the cold side to the lower portion of the tank.It puts the cold water in the bottom of the heater which pushes the hot water to the top.To change the dip tube out you must disconnect the cold water supply from the 3/4 inch nipple at the top of the tank. Then with a pipe wrench unscrew the nipple from the tank it will have the remainder of the tube on it.You can get a replacement dip tube at a plumming supply. Installation is opposite of removal. If this is your problem I suggest you get a new water heater .Usually its caused from minnerals in the water or buy two dissimiler metals being connected together in the water piping system causing corrosion Your water heater will probably fail in the near future.
If I am reading this correctly you want to connect washer to the faucet inputs. This requires washer hose kit at any hardware store. Kit has two hoses,<simular to garden hose> they have double end that will connect to both washer and faucet.Make sure when hooking up you hook cold to cold and hot to hot,< washer has C and H to know which is which.
If this is a new hook-up please be sure that your water line is connected to the cold plumbing on the house and not the hot. IF it is on the hot the fridge is cooling it down to warm.
Cold water supply at Fridge location. Run 1/4" tubing and connectors to match the supply valve and solenoid valve on the Fridge. Should be just one tubing connection.
If you do not have a supply at your Fridge, you can shut off your main supply and tap into the cold water line and run you a supply over to the fridge. use 1/2" PVC pipe and fittings to route over to the fridge. Get a Threaded adapter to connect a shutoff Valve. This way you have a way to keep the main supply on and hook up the Tubing from the fridge to the supply.
