I read your blog, and if this has not been resolved yet, or if you are still having any other problems, I would be more that happy to help you out! You need to program your remote in this case. Pull out the Smart Card in the front of the receiver, which will bring you to system info. Here, with your remote, hold down the SAT button on the top left of the remote, until all the mode buttons light up at the top of the remote, then release. Then press a number between 2 and 15 on the numeric keypad, then press the pound button (#) then record (above the 3) 3 times. This will resolve the remote issue!!!!!
