2- you can find tow mark on needle bar the upper mark for adjusting the hight of needle bar bring the needle bar at lower position and check if the upper mark aqual with the lower bushing or no.
3- when the lower mark aqual with the lower bushing at this time the blad point of hook must be at the center of groove for the needle if no lose tow screw for the hook and readjust the timming between the blad point for the hook and grove for needle bar

My bobbin stitch is too tight on my Juki DDL 8500-7, how can I fix this?

Hi LJ,
Look on the bobbin case, and see if there is a small screw. Usually that is the tension of the bobbin. You can adjust that until there is only slight tension on the bobbin thread.
Hope this helps

Hi, I have a Juki ddl 552 that does not have te stich setting nob. I am wondring how can I change my stich seting? please help.

Here is a threading diagram for this industrial machine
http://www.sewusa.com/Threading_Diagrams/Threading_Pages/Juki_Sewing_machine_threading/Juki_552_553_555_227_Threading_Diagram.htm

You can also buy a manual here
http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/Juki_Manuals/Juki_Industrial_Sewing_Machine_Manuals/227-552-553-555_Instruction_Manual.htm for this model.

I would have thought there would be some sort of screw or adjustment to control stitch length but I can't find an image for your model.
However this image might help, http://www.johnharbsew.com/images/threading/JUKI-DNU-241-TD.jpg, my Singer 20U, has a dial like this with numbers on that you adjust for length, is there something similar on the Juki?

I just bought a used juki DDL 8500 industrial sewing machine. It didn't come with manual. I also can't find a bobbin casing. I feel very foolish. There appears to have a bobbin winder on the side....

I just bought the same machine and mine came with a photocopied manual. There is indeed a bobbin winder on the side, there's a flat section on the side of the bobbin winder closest to you, if you push that forward it connects a wheel attached to a bobbin spoke, to the belt that runs between the machine and the motor. To wind the bobbin, put the bobbin on sideways onto the axis of the wheel that is on the inside of the machine, and push the bobbin winder forward.
If you're looking for where the bobbin case is located on the machine, if you look underneath the machine on the left hand side, there should be a metal belly, on the left side of the belly is an opening, and in there sits the bobbin casing.
I think you were asking for either one of these answers, I'm on here troubleshooting for my Juki DDL-8500, good luck with yours, hopefully I can find what I need to know too!

How to adjust the stich lenght on a juki ddl 553 strite stich.

I still don't understand this. I have acquiured a juki DDL 553 recently to discover I have no idea how to change the stitch length and that there is no reverse stitch. I have pressed the black button and have tried to turn the side?( the wheel?) but when i push down on the black button there is no way to turn the wheel it doesn't move, maybe there is some other part I'm supposed to be moving??
