Cycle never finishes.

If I put the washer on a regular cycle, the water fills up and then it doesn't jump into the next part of the cycle. The washer stops and then I'm left with wet clothes standing in the water. Sometimes if I hit the side of it, it connects to the next stage of the cycle but this time it does not. Also, I've tried to reset the dial and reclick it to another cycle or a different setting in the same cycle and still nothing. It's like it's dead. Just sitting there full of water. What do I do next?

Water fills and then nothing happens. Even if you manually turn the dial it still will not kick into the cycle of washing. I have noticed the last several weeks that in between cycles it makes a clicking noise then it would just sit for a few minutes but it eventually kicked into the next cycle. Now it does nothing. Washer not even 4 years old!

We have an issue with one of three things
on the sides of the lid the hinges are bolted to the lid with 2 screws on each side
ferify that the secres are tight
if so then you have a lid switch that needs to be replaced or the water pressure switch in the console is bad

Kenmore 700 series top loader washer. I put it on the normal cycle, the washer fills and agitates for a few minutes (maybe 5) then drains only to fill back up and finish the cycle. Is this normal?

no
some cycle the agitator during the fill cycle to get better distribution of the clothes as it is filling and then shut of the water and proceed to the wash cycle
have a technician check out the program board

Cycle starts, but does not fill with water

When I start a new cycle, I first hear the pump run to empty out all remaining water, and after that I hear the motor run for the regular washing cycle, but there is no water in the dishwasher. After a few minutes, the cycle stops, and the washer claims the dishes are 'clean'. When I try starting a new cycle over and over again, about one in 20 times, the cycle will run normally with water. But then the next time, the problem starts all over again. Once a cycle starts correctly, everything works fine, including the rinsing.

Beko WMP652W washing machine will start cycle but get stuck at end of wash, doesnt go onto rinse or spin any help please?

see the next steps and use the common sense: God bless you
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Water runs into tub but does not fill?

be sure the drain hose is not lower than the wash tub this will caust the water to run out, 2nd be sure the drain hose is not pushed to far into the house stand pipe and the there is rome for air to go inbetween the drain hose and stand pipe eather of these will cause the machine to siphon mostly on rince cycle or on the 2nd and third loads you do. last your house drain could be starting to back up fill the washer with water and listen to it drain if you hear a gurggling sound in the house pipe you may need a plumber to cleanthis out for you.

it sounds like your water inlet valve is bad, change it,also try your washer on another water level like small load or med load and see if it cuts off,it might also be your water level switch, hope this helps,thanks-mike
