I'd left my iPhone at my friend's house and he didn't bother to make it charge while it'd sat on his couch. The problem is when I bring it back to recharge the battery. There's no response. I've tried to connected to iTune. Also nothing. What should I do? Thanks.

Why wont my iphone 4 turn on or charge?

Hello Anonymous
Have you tried holding the top button down at the same time as the main bottom button.
Hold them both down together for about 2 minutes.
This Total Reset may bring it back to life....
You could also try running iTunes on your Computer
(Mac or Win PC)
Then plug the Charge/USB Cable into the iPhone & the Computer.
If recognised, it should show up in the left hand column in iTunes. This is normally how you do a Backup or Restore of an iPhone or iPad.
Many people don't seem to realise that this is part of the Apple ecosystem to help look after your iDevices with Backups etc.
It's not just for getting songs and Apps.
There are also other software programs available to assist with getting files on & off your iPhone. If you have a Mac you can use PhoneView 2.9.8 or iPhone Configuration Utility to access the contents & set up for multiple company type users.
If your iPhone still refuses to come to life then you will have to take it to an Apple Store to have it looked at. If it is SHOT, keep in mind that there is a great trade in deal available to upgrade your model at a reasonable price at any Apple Shop.
Hope this Helps

How to remove an iphone battery

Step 1:
Remove the 2 tiny screws on the bottom of the iPhone (one screw on each side of charging port).

Step 2:
Gently slide the back housing up. It should slide about 1cm up, then pull it straight back, and it should easily come off the phone.

Now you should have full access to the battery, and motherboard.

If you're removing the battery, unplug the battery plug, on the lower left side of the battery, then pull the clear tab up, and also pry the battery (ONLY with your fingers), because the battery is usually glued down.

REMEMBER: When re-installing the back housing, DO NOT tighten the screws tight, or it could crack the back housing. Only tighten the screws until they're snug, and shouldn't fall out.
Go and search Youtube on how to remove iphone Battery !

Bought a new Garmin Nuvi 40LMgive wrong direction from day one. do i need to take it back or is there some way i can correct it?

Get your money back and spend it on a good road map. I use the latest Philips navigator UK map, it never fails and keeps my old brain functioning.

I have a friend who uses a satellite navigation system. Having met up at a place, I knew he asked me how to get to somewhere local, I said go back the way you came and at the big church, turn left - I didn't see any church he said, I was following Sat Nav - that is the point without sat nav we become aware of what is around us so we learn our way, even in strange places, by looking at the sun we can work out whether we need to go east west, etc..

Get your money back and buy a map!

I CANT FIND MY GAME BOY CHARGER!!

Have you looked in the back seat of the car? in your bookbag? under your bed? behind or in the cushions of the couch? Your sister may have it. Or did you leave it at a friends house? You can get a cheap replacement at radio shack or walmart if you just can't find it. Farmerbear at FixYa.com

Downloading Photos from iphone

Hi,
The quickest and easiest way is to connect via cable and run iPhoto. It will bring all the photos in, seperate them into events etc.
if you have a .me account, photos you take on the iPhone can be automatically synchronised with all your apple or pc computers, as you take the picture.
Finally, if you're without a cable (say at work/friends house) simply email the photo to yourself, from the phone.

DO U NO WHERE IS MY IPOD

No one knows,
where the elusive IPOD goes,
One second it's there, the next it's gone.

Searching, searching, searching, but to no avail,
Perhaps it's on the back of a snail.
But no that cannot be, for snails do not like IPODS.

Perhaps it's in that purse, or pair of jeans,
Ah I wish I could find it, it just makes me screams!

Maybe I left it in the bathroom, or bedroom, or kitchen,
perhaps it's down in the couch under a cushion.
Perhaps grabbed by a cat, an alien, or a mouse,
it must be somewhere here in the house.

Maybe at a friends house, waiting patiently for my return,
perhaps when I find it I will learn,

to keep better track of My IPOD, and this in turn,
is something to remember, that I discern.

Iphone wont turn on i tryed holding down power and home. this happened after i restarted my iphone. OK i turned off my iphone turned it back on and it showed somthin to connect to itunes so i turned it off...

if your battery got so low that it didn;t supply power to the phone, it probably relocked the iPhone.
It sounds like you either having a low charge from the computer or you need to buy a good a/c charger and charge your phone with it and see if it comes back.
But it's definitely battery related
