We have lost the power cord to plug into our Proscan TV model: PS52652 chassis: PTK169PDBS. where can we find a cord to purchase?

If you have the model number of that Proscan TV, you will likely find the original remote for that at www.remotes.com. They don't have power cords for TVs, but they do have Proscan remotes.

These tv use a universal cord which can be picked up for around $4 from any Walmart or Home Depot store.

Do you mean that the unit has no power cord or is the TV missing the input board from the side? Sears Parts Direct has parts for the Proscan 19LB30QD here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Proscan-Parts/Television-Parts/Model-19LB30QD/3027/0333300/50036238/00001?blt=06&prst=0&shdMod=19LB30QD . The AC cable is PART NUMBER: E080515H00 for $27. There is also an adapter, PART NUMBER: E075WDN1, for $26.79. The input board is part 6 on the diagram (main board).

Other cords will depend on what you want to connect to the TV. There is 1 HDMI port for connecting a set top box, component, composite and S-video jacks (for other set top boxes), a VGA port and a coaxial (antenna jack). It should be the same cord as used by your PC power supply that you can get from RS or local PC repair shop.

this is same ctc169 check for separated power supply for convergence some times 2 wiress goin from main chassis to convergence board red and black are intermiten check for that but you mention that only show menu. select tv and check for tv signal or video imput if you dont have video you have convergence problem and some thing else

Also, the proscan ps52652 has the ctc-169 chassis. This set is a 52" manufactured in 93.

The power cord easily falls out on my model, try twisting the power cord where it plugs into the TV until the red light comes on in the front.

your set have gone into shutdown,it will try 3 time to correct itself then shut down you might all have different faults. call your local shop and ask for an est, cost to repair ,it may not be all that bad news. depending on your chassis type there different quick fixes to save money and time ,when you post your sets always say what chassis also./st
