Playstation will not eject a disk that is in the machine

Turn off the PS3 completely and unplug the power from the console. Leave the device unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug the PS3 back in. Then, press the eject button on the front until the disk is ejected.

u press the eject button for 10sec and it will eject the disk..if not u can see this site to solve the problem..click hear..

this might be due to some spam with the disk and u switch off and on it it will become normal and if not u press the eject button for 5sec the disk will be ejected and still u hav som worries u can see this site to solve it..

Hold eject flip power switch in the back off while still holding the eject button flip it back on this is the emergency disk ejection

hold eject turn sytem off with switch in the back while still holding the eject button flip switch back on and it will come out THIS IS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY MIGHT DAMAGE DISK TRAY

best thing to do to eject disk is
1.power of the console
2. hold the eject button and the power button down at the same time
3. then reach around to the back of the console and put the switich on
4. hold for ten seconds and thhe disk should come out

well sounds like your PS3 needs to be reflowed or reballed. I would highly recomend you have a professional do the repair. as fas as having a game stuck inside the machine you can get it out in under 10 seconds by doing this.<br /> <br /> 1) turn off power switch in back of ps3<br /> 2) place finger on eject button and hold there while ps3 is off ( no red light) <br /> 3) while holding finger on the eject button turn power switch on the back of ps3 on , hold finger on eject button untill the disk ejects.<br /> 4) turn power switch off and have unit repaired or replaced. <br /> <br /> if unit is covered by warranty and you send it to sony you must get your disk out of the system as you will NOT get it back if you send it to sony. Most reputable repair shops will return your disk with the system or give it to you before they take the system in for repairs. I ALWAYS give the game disks back before a customer leaves my shop as it leaves me with less to keep track of.

what probably happened is when you dropped it which why was it dropped in the first place. the track that ejects the disk was probably knocked out of place resulting in the problem with the ejecting of the disk. the only thing that i can possibly think of is to check for screws and open up your ps3 then check the disk ejection system and see what was jumbled around. hope this helps dude.

This means it is broken down. You need to call playstation, to find the number go to www.playstation.com. My friend had the same problem, that means there's something wrong with it.
