My under the counter refrigerator does not drop the temperture below 41 degrees, Is that the lowest that it drops?

How did you remove ice from freezer. If you uses any type of tool (Scraper etc) then you have possibly punctured the evaporator tubes. These tubes can be either as a radiator type or form part of the freezer box and are very thin therefore susceptible to puncturing when using scrapers or such to remove ice.
To remove ice from refrigerator condensers allow it to melt, you can use a hair dryer to speed this up but DO NOT use mechanical means.

Refrigerators are designed to be used inside at typical to normal household temperatures. The problem with refrigerators are if the ambient temperatures drop down below 55 Degrees F Food in freezer will begin to defrost when the temperature in the garage goes below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. The fresh food section may begin to freeze food slightly below this temperature. If you live in an area where the outside ambient temperature does not get below 70 degrees F or 20 degrees C then the refrigerator will work fine but to have it located in an area where temperatures drop well below this you could lose some food. Sounds like it needs a new thermostat.
If you are competent with electrics its a fairly easy repair, only 2 wires and the ground.
See your local fridge wholesaler and ask for a thermostat for a bottle cooler. They should be able tpo supply one.

Switch off and unplug before starting work

Knob generally pulls off or may have a small screw under the knob cap, then find how the casing is fixed, remove the casing the thermostat is fixed either with 2 screws or 1 center knut, be careful when removing the capilliary (looks like a thick silver wire) don't damage it you really will not like the smell.

Replace exactly as removed, takes lots of care and patience, use your cellphone to take images for reference if your not certain.

By keep your refrigerator or freezer too cold, it unnecessarily wastes electricity. The recommended temperature is 37 to 40 degrees for the fresh food compartment of the refrigerator. The recommended temperature for the freezer compartment is 5 degrees. If you have a separate freezer for long-term food storage, it should kept at 0 to -5 degrees.

The following steps below is how to set the temperature of your refrigerator.

The first thing you must know is that your refrigerator should be set at 37-38 degrees. Anything at 40 or higher and you are risking food born illness (food poisoning) or spoiling your food.

Step 2
Place your magnetic thermometer in the refrigerator.

Step 3
Set your dial on your refrigerator to the second lowest setting. (If your refrigerator is already equipped with a digital thermostat, simply set it for 37 or 38 degrees and do not move on to the next step)

Step 4
After 2 hours, check your thermometer reading. If your reading is 38 degrees, there is no need to go higher and you are ready to put your groceries in. Be sure not to open and close your refrigerator during these two hours or your temperature reading will be incorrect.

If your reading is higher than 38 degrees, move your dial up to the next coldest setting and repeat the steps every two hours until you reach the correct temperature for your refrigerator.

Step 5
Once you have reached the correct refrigeration temperature for your refrigerator, place the magnetic thermometer in the refrigerator permanently and watch for changes.

Typically, your refrigerator temperature will need to be adjusted with the seasons, a higher setting in the summer and a lower setting in the winter.

Is the cooling fan in the back working? Does the center of fridge where your doors meet feel really hot?

The refrigerator was moved to a new location.  The temperature setting was on 41 degrees.  After the move the temperature indicator does not indicate any temp.  How do I reset the temp.  and turn on the indicator?

Freezer temperature for storage depends on the type of product you are putting into it. Ice Cream as an example must be kept below zero °F as also with bread dough type products. Refrigerator temperatures are best kept below 41°F.

The lowest temperture that the oven will control is 170 degrees. You would have to place a suitable thermometer in the oven and manually control the temperature if you want a lower temperature.

Check to see if your machine is connected to cold water, it should be. The problem could be the electronic thinks the machine is always connected to cold water at about 20 degree c. if connected to hot, the time drop if the it would take to heat the water to the incomming temperture Good luck
