Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

2 Answers

No Audio Hi, My son is having audio problems with his XBOX 360 headset. He says he is able to talk and other players can hear him, but he cannot hear them when they speak. He says he has the volume turned up and that the connector is plugged into the console correctly. I asked him if there is a software volume control in the program and he says he didn't see one. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Al Brewer [email protected]

There is a setting under the xbox blade and personal settings under headset volume. Play with these options until you hear people again. Yay!

I thought it was supposed to be wireless but I still have to plug it into my controller for people to hear me talk on my tritton WIRELESS primer headset

that's still considered wireless in order for you to talk and hear your friends talk that cord that goes into the Controller to the headset or mixer is the only way you can talk but if you don't want to talk you can go to the settings on the xbox and play though speakers

Try turning up the volume on the headset, Unmuting them or going into Audio on the System Block

I cant talk or hear anyone talk on headset i could until about 8 days ago

This is probebly just a faulty headset, my son seems to get through 3 or 4 sets a year,In your post you have not mentioned anything you have tried, so have you tried a different headset to see if that works?

I can hear game sound through my headset, i cant hear players but i can talk through my headset why is this?

You probably kinked your controller cable. That will cause the mic to malfunction. You should purchase a new controller cable on TurtleBeach's website under "Replacement Parts".

I can hear trough my headset but not talk

okay, this is obvious but first of all make sure this switch on your headset is not on mute. If alls good there go to your dashboard settings and you should see communication and make sure none of these are blocked. If this also isn't the problem it looks like you are going to need a new headset. It should have a years warrenty if that helps?
