I put my game in the xbox then it made lik a scratching sound then I took my game out and it was scratched how do I fix a scratched game??

If the game has a ring around the disc like a scratch you want to go to game stop and have them buff it out . How your games got scratch ring on them if u hit or if you move the 360 from horizonal to vertical while theres a game in the dvd drive it will make a loud buzz sound like a blender with no ice in it and thats what put a scratch ring in your games . you can a skipped disc fix from game stop its called skip disc fixer . its a pate that you put on the game and gently buff out the scratch . For heavy scratches that r deep you might want to buy the game used.

I've heard that when you put discs in the 360 and have the machine perpendicular to the ground, scratches sometimes occur. From my own personal experience, physically moving the 360 while playing a disc can sometimes cause scratches. I'd call 1-800-4-MYXBOX and ask them about it. Try their tech support and hopefully any fixes fall within your warranty or are easier than that. I'm sure that they'd be glad to help. Good luck!

well if u tilt ur xbox wihle the disk is spinnig that give it a scratch it happend to me and i used a toothpaste trick but it took 3 days to fix coz it was a deeeppp scratch

get a small dish of vinegar and leave the disk(scratched side)in dish overnight vinegar fills cracks and scratches.

If the damaged disc is a Microsoft game, Microsoft will replace it under their disc replacement program.

If it's not a Microsoft game you can try to fix it using a disc repair kit you can purchase at Staples or some movie video stores such as FYE.

You can also try the disc repair kit on the disc even if it is a Microsoft game disc. If you do and still have problems reading the disc, you will need to get a new one.

Sorry but you need a new one. You should have deep scratches in your disk. And I bet you had the console standing up;

your unit is still under warranty if you bought it new the best thing to do is call the xbox number and they will send you a fedex box to put it in and send out my xbox took about 2 month to fix and they gave me a free month to their online services hope this helps

A Fault on M$FT's part theyre is no buffers above the disk causing it to bump against the laser. Call M$ tell them its scratched a game make a fuss and they will either send you a new game or a credit voucher

the problem is the disc drive.
you have to open it up and put some stick foam " like a sticky strip of foam, insulator : on top of the drive .
the problem is that the disc touches the laser assembly while turning cheating a ring on the disc.
i can fix your games as well as the disc drive if you feel like is to complicated.

It sounds like the console's reader scratched your disc. This can occur when moving the console while it is on, the disc can slip off and get heavily scratched.

I would try grabbing a blank (unimportant) cd or disc and place it in the disc tray, then turning on the console to see if the console is scratching the disc.

Also, be sure to have the console FLAT on the ground, NOT vertical. This can greatly decrease any chance of the console scratching your discs.

I personally have had my XBOX wreck 3 different game's now due to just tapping or nudging the console. I took my wrecked games to a local used game shop like GameStop where they will take the disc from you and allow a discounted price (usually around $10) for a replacement used game.

There is not much you can do about the wrecked disc. You can attempt to have the disc resurfaced (local video rental shops can do this). Microsoft does have a disc replacement program however it takes weeks to have the game returned, and they only allow certain games to be replaced. More information on that can be found here:
