Labtec Wireless desktop 1200 not working- win xp sp2

Hi
I bought Labtec wireless desktop 1200 few days ago and since than I cant get it to work. No metter what I try, all I get is "Usb device is not recognized" .
I tryed:
Latest drivers from Labtec
Latest BIOS and drivers for my MOBO (Abit KN8 Ultra v1.1)
connect and dissconect rf receiver to all usb slots I have
reinstall windows from scratch (few times)
uninstall and reinstall usb ports numerous times
load hid services
changed BIOS settigs countless times
... and tons of other stuff

Both keyboard and mous works (tested in shop, in front of my eyes and also at my friends computer)
Keyboard works on my computer while Im in the BIOS.
As soon windows takes over, lights on receiver goes off and nothing works any more.
My usb ports works fine since other devices I have attached are working without any problem (modem, cammera ...) on all usb ports.
Thanks in advance.

The same problem. I found that the problem appears when 1200 is installed on PC with chipsets under nVidia drivers. No Labtec Tech Support could help me. Still waiting for solution.

I think you are right, I have the same problem and can get it to work on my other computer but it will not work with my intended machine which also has a nvidia chipset. It is a jetway 775gtx-log motherboard and suspected that it was incompatiblewhich from these posts seems to be the case.

Have tried installing updated bios, new drivers, checking power supply to the slots, pretty much anything I can think of, was going to reload my pc but I see that from previous posts this doesn't help. Has anybody had help from the manufacturer regarding this?

I have the same problem, though when connected to a asus barebone
    with an ATi 9100 IGP.

Connecting to another PC worked fine.

Labtec desktop v6.0 software doesn't solve anything.
Even during installation it says 'drvins.exe' not found.
    Doesn't look promising.

    I have the same problem....

I cannotget it to connect in windows xp. It does work when i start thecomputer, i can get into bios with it and move around with thekeyboard. But as soon as windows xp starts to load, it turns off and icannot for the life of me get the connecter to turn back on andconnect. I tried the instructions, step by step, and it doesnt want towork.

It does work on the laptop that i tested it on, noproblems at all. So its not defect, just something wrong with my pc,but i wouldnt know for the life of me. I use windows xp proffesional. Ijust installed windows last week, so no ugly virusses or junk on it.

Imjust really frustrated that it will work in bios, but not in windows..I have a wireless mouse hooked up now, and its never given me aproblem.. i just dont understand why it wont work, i also checked mypower supply just to se eif it makes a difference, i unplugged somefans and my neon light, but that doesnt seem to have any effect.. ihave a 550 watt supply, and i know very well that i dont have that muchwatt even with everything hooked up.

I see that i am not theonly one who has this problem with this type if keyboard and mouse. Iwould appreciate it if any of you figured out how to fix this problem!

Seen to be a problem with power manager.
On Linux the solution what

echo -1 >/sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend

I find it here:

3com usb bluetooth adaptor wont work at all

The Bluetooth adapter should be able to be used with Win XP's own drivers, try uninstalling the drivers that you got with the adapter and dis connect it. Re-connect your adapter back in and right click on an item you want to send via bluetooth and it will say 'send to bluetooth device'. Please note this will only work with Win XP SP2 not SP1
