I have Punch! Pro-Platinum and I need to open an autocad drawing in punch, but it keeps saying that an error was encountered and that my hard disk may be full?? I don't understand? Would you have any info on that?

Have you check how many MB of space will be consumed? Normally in this operation, you would know the total space once you have installed it on the pc. Perhaps if you have encountered an error hard disk may be full is like cautioned you not to continue using the problem. My best suggestion for this is to remove the temporary files on your pc. Just click Start > All Programs > accessories > system tools > disc cleanup. click Ok to calculate the number of temporary files to be removed and there would be a breakdown. Once finished , restart the pc and try to install your product. For sure that error will not occur again...

Thanks for taking the time to help me out;o) Well I know I have more than enough MB, but I did do everything you said and I still get the error message.. I just got my PC about a month ago and have not put too much on it yet..
Any other ideas? One of the error messages said '' failed to open DIB file"
I hope this can get worked out since I have to turn in a landscaping cad drawing ASAP and I the floor plan was made first in autocad;o(

Lost drawing file

Punch will open only PRO files or PSH files
You can open the DXF files with a CAD program or Corel Draw. regarding the BMP files, you can aopen them with almost any graphic program, including MS Paint
