Microtek ScanMaker 9800xl

I cannot scan anything that is to light. I tried to scan a painting and the sky drops right out. I have been having trouble with accurate scannin for awhile now. Please help!

Try doing a fresh reinstall of the software for the scanner and then adjust the color ratios durring the install. I have found that every one to two years it is good to go through and refresh all my drivers for scanners printers ect.
