I guess the problem is with your hard disk. The hard disk might have got corrupted because of some bad sectors or some virus. Try going for a XP reinstallation. That will almost fix your problem. If the problem still persists, Then am really sorry to say, you should go for a product replacement which is not advisable you may happen to lose the data in your old hard disk. The service center ppl will not care abt your data and they wont take backup for you as well. So try to go for XP reinstallation.
