I have a windows 7 operating system. I have an Epson LX-300+ printer and an installation cd.The problem is, I can't install the driver because it always said that unidrv.dll is missing..And I cant find any driver that is compatible with windows 7. please help me.. or give me a link to where I can download a driver for windows 7.. thank you..

Information on the Epson advises that a new inbox driver is available for the LX -300+ and Windows 7; if you were connected to the internet during installation the driver should have been downloaded when your system updated Windows 7.

If your printer is not connected to your PC or the internet, scroll down the page until you reach, How to browse the Add Printer wizard or manually install an inbox driver. If the driver for your printer is not inlcuded in the list you will need to arrange to have a connection to the internet.

As a veteran Epson user, I can usually find out just what Epson offers in the way of drivers for any of their printers, depending upon the version of operating system is requiring printer drivers. This is no exception with the Epson LX 300+.

Unfortunately, Epson only made drivers for the LX 300+ for Windows OS XP and earlier. As of current there are no drivers for PCs with Vista or Windows XP made for the Epson LX 300+.

what is your operating system? If you have windows XP or Vista, you dont need to download anything from Epson. Just go to your start menu and look for control panel. In control panel, open "printers and faxes" or "printers and other hardware" then "printers and faxes". Once you are in "printers and faxes" click Add Printer...
An "add printer wizard" will appear in a new window, click next...
On the next screen, choose local printer. And make sure that the option "Automatically detect and install..." is selected. It will start searching... If the wizard did not find the printer, it will come up with a list of manufacturers... From this list choose EPSON and a list on the right side will show you the model names. Look for the LX-300 on the list, it should be there! Install it and you're done... The driver is already included in the windows operating system. You dont need the disc if you have Windows Xp or Vista....
