What is SG3 as a fax mode?

This error code says :- The sending fax machine sent an unexpected communication. This is usually a defect in the remote sending machine.

*If ECM is enabled, then disable it.

Some basic troubleshooting tips are listed below to help determine the cause.
Check the following items :

Ensure the phone cord is plugged directly from the wall jack, into the back port of the fax machine marked "Line", "To Wall Jack", or with a wall jack symbol

Remove any other device from the line such as splitters, credit card machines, or telephone answering machines and retry.

Turn Error Correction Mode (ECM) off ,
For turning off ECM > press set up > press ok >go to advanced fax set up by using the arrow key > press ok > press arrow key go to OFF > press ok .

After these steps > try to send a fax to undermentioned number , once it is sent u will recieve a confirmatory fax in return as well .
