Thank you so much for your kindness. If I attempt this would I try and unthread it? If so, clockwise or CCW? Also, any recomendations on what to use to pry the end off? I'm afraid I'll break the plastic ends if use force on them.
I do thnk this is a replacement that I got from eBay. I've had to replace too many of these damn things because of the same reasons. I've never had roller get to the stage where it wore out.
I always get confused, but I think it is clock wise. Stick a small blade screw driver under the end cap and pry out, it should pop off, it covers a bearing. That is the problem with the Oreck brush rolls, the ends go bad long before the bristles get worn down.
