I have a Canon S400 digital elf. Suddenly, the lens doesn' open....after recharging battery. I get a beep followed by buzzing....and the screen says 'E18'? Can you help. Thank you Mickey Chasse

This is a very common problem with several digital cameras the buzz sound it the motor being obstructed. and it is giving you a lens error some times you can tape the camera on its side gently while turning it on and free the jam some times not. if not you need the camera serviced.
