My kids have locked my phone and i can not unlock it . i called the 1800 number and they said to talk to you at lg

you could call the 1800 number for AT&T number and ask them to help you unlock it for free

you can call att at 1800-331-0500
have the imei number ready when you talk to a rep. and if available they will give you an unlock code for free.

you need to call customer service at 1800 331 0500 tell them you need the puk code, which is a unique number to unlock the sim card, they will ask a few numbers off the phone/sim card, they will then give you the number, also the number may be listed in your manual/papers that came with phone.

u have to press the un;lock button on the side or touch the screen to unlock it while on a call and then u press dial pad and then u just wenter whatever number you want.

Couple things ... try the unlock code, hopefully it is not changed from default which is the last 4 digits of the phone number.

Do you use the backup assistant? If not, why not? Get it. It will back up the contacts list as often as you say and it is a free service. You must open an account at Verizon wireless ... go there for more details.

Lastly, if you cant get it unlocked, grit your teeth and do a hard reset. This will wipe the phone - contacts, appointments, notes, pictures. It will return the phone to factory settings.

If you dont know how to do this, contact Verizon at 1800 2 join in (I think)

If you have to hard reset, remember the back up assistant. Nice thing about this application is you can update your list of contacts on the WWW and then download to the phone. I have mine update in the middle of the night when there is no time charge.

see if on the phone it says"unlock".press the button underneath unlock. when it asks for a code, dial the last 4 numbers of your wife's phone.

usually the unlock code for LG phones is 00000
try it maybe it helps
