Its either bad caps on the PSB-power supply board or the Y-SUS main board is bad or a component has failed on it. Remove the YSUS and take it to a PC repair shop the does board level test and repair. It's more cost effective to rework the exisitting board than to buy a new one. Or you can buy a refurb online. I say PC repair as they are cheaper than your local TV repair person.

Sounds like you lost your video driver .. when the happens you go into a default setting that is usually low resolution. If you can access your manufacturers web site no doubt they have an updated driver available

Sounds like "closed captioning" or other information mode has been setup on your TV, slect " Menu" on your remote and go through initial set up or options to see what has been set up change it. If there is a default option or factory setting available select that.

You have sound but no picture. Green power light is on and NOT flashing. You get a screen flash or flicker on power-up or even a minute of screen before going all black. It is your inverter board. Common problem on LCDs (maybe more so on Phillips?). They are easy to replace (unplug-plug) and are available on the net.
