Cracked screen, all numbers saved on phone, not on sim card and i cannot get the numbers off the phone.

My Nokia 6210 Navigator also had a very badly cracked screen.
I took it to sum shop and they put in a new screen for me.
This is a great option u just have to keep searching for a shop that can do it

I have 2 suggestions:

  • borrow similar if not identical phone unit, then comparably follow the steps on transferring your phone contacts to SIM.. or the best solution is
  • bring your phone to a qualified cellphone technician and ask him to change your LCD.. changing your LCD i think will not erase your phone contacts and/or saved messages..just be cautious to avoid him from formatting your phone...

you can buy spare screens pretty cheap on ebay - just buy one for your phone and look at

there its explained how to do it, its easy took me 5minutes and ive never opend a phone before.

How do i save all my info to my sim card? my screen is cracked so i can't see what i'm doing.
You can copy all your contacts in the sim card by going to contacts -> settings -> and copy all the contacts to your sim. Other information or data can be copied to memory card only.

If your numbers are saved on the sim card all you have to do is insert that sim card into any other phone that uses sim cards and your numbers will be there. If they were just saved on the phone and not on the sim card I'm not too sure how that would be done :/

Cracked screen tryin to save all contacts to sim for new phone
if you got the same type of phone, then you have to go to the adress book, click options and go to the 13th option. it should be a copy to SIM card option. click it, then go to multiple or selectd, whichever you want. it should copy. PS the # for the copy to SIM option is jst what i have. you might have something different. =)

LCD broke
take the phone to a mobile service center and have them replaced the LCD for you but if you just want the info off the phone....install the software cd on to the pc then follow the step by step instructions as to how to copy all the numbers to sim-card.

Sony Ericsson Z525A-COPY PHONE NUMBERS TO SIM CARD -BLANK SCREEN
to retrieve your numbers you would need to follow these key strokes...

center, toggle down (1 time), center, toggle up (2 times), center, toggle down (5 times), center, toggle down (5 times), center (3 times)

then wait for quite some time...it takes a while to copy all of the contacts...I would say anywhere from 5 to 10 mins...

this should work to save your contacts.

To save your pictures (and any other data you might want to retrieve) you could buy Sony's data cable2.gif for the z525a. I haven't tried this but it should work since that is what the cable is for.

Its called a DCU-60 USB data cable, and is listed as being compatible with the z525a.
