My Panasonic projection tv has a green haze to the picture and curved lines down the screen

It sounds like you may have a convergence problem.

I will attach a few photos here of typical convergence problems; no two sets look exactly the same but you will know if your problem is like them.

If you find you have this problem I can tell you what is involved and needed for this repair.

Before you rate this information let me know what you find.

PT-51G44

Some of the components in the vertical deflection circuit area, and possibly in some other areas as well, have become thermo sensitive with age and use.

An experienced TV tech can troubleshoot the set to locate the defective parts and change them.

Panasonic PT-51G44 51 transporting?

No you should only transport it standing up to ensure the optics do not get messed up. I have seen peeps do this and nothing happens. I have also seen pros do the move on the back or the sides and it tears up the TV set. Good Luck
