Resetting the router will erase all the settings of the router resulting it to loose connection (if you are using a DSL conenction with PPPoE settings).

The easiest would be to reset the router using the small recessed button at the back of the unit. Performing a full hard reset (pressing reset more than 10 seconds) would clear the password. Of course, this action would also clear all other configurations and settings reverting the unit back to factory default.
