Kenmore Elite HE3 Error FH I forgot to turn the water hoses on when I started a load. The FH error sounded at 33 minutes of a 45 minute cycle. I can't reset the machine now. It is stuck. It is unplugged. When I plug it in it tries to drain, but there is no water to drain. I can change the cycle and spin speed buttons, but can't cancel the load or open the door.

According to kenmore, you should press the "pause/cancel" button twice and it should release it.  it may also have locked up the CCU, central control module and might need to be replaced.

I was getting the F H error code on my washer. I hit cancel twice to clear the code to see of a cycle restart would remedy. Now the wash cycle is stuck on 45 min. remaining & the cancel button is no...

The FH error code on your Kenmore Elite washing machine is an indicator that there is a problem with incoming water. When there is little water coming into the machine, the FH code will appear and the washer will stop. There are a couple of common problems you can check while you are resetting the FH error code. You will need to remove the power supply to the washer to reset the code.

  • 1 Look for the "Pause/Cancel" button on the washer control panel. The button will be below the digital time clock and to the lower right of the wash cycle selector.

  • 2
Press the "Pause/Cancel" button twice to cancel the wash cycle. Unplug the Kenmore Elite washer from the wall outlet.

  • 3 Check for kinks in the water supply hose while the washer does not have power. Turn off the water supply spigots and remove the hoses from the back of the washer. Check the port screens at the hose connections for sediment buildup and clean as necessary.

  • 4
Connect the water supply hoses back to the washer and turn on the water spigots. Plug the washer cord back into the wall outlet.

  • 5
Select the wash cycle and press the "Start" button.

    F h flases

First try turning off the machine for 30 minutes. Still FH? Then check your inlet valve. Shut off valve, switch off machine & see if the water comes full flow. Check the filters on the machine inlet entry, they could be blocked, clean out.

The FH indicates a fill failure and this is usually caused by a bad water valve, flow meter or pressure switch.

One key to determining the cause of the FH error is how fast the error comes up in a cycle. If the error appears within 1 or 2 minutes then the most likely cause will be the water valve or flow meter.

If the error doesn't appear for several minutes then the pressure switch can be the source of the problem.

Both water valves must be turned on and working. Even if a cold wash is selected at some point during the fill the hot water valve will be energized and if there is no water then the FH error will show up. Sometimes a consumer will turn the hot water valve off to save energy but you can't turn one valve off on this washer.

Inlet valves can be purchased thru the net and fitted by you easily.

I have kenmore elite he3 and it is flashing f 02 and then it will flash sud. Water will not all drain out of it,

HI. this code represents a Long Drain issue.

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and F02 is flashed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

NOTE: After 4 minutes the “Sud” error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

    Potential Causes

    • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked
    • Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
    • Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects
    • If the above does not correct the problem replace the pump

My kenmore elite HE3 front oading washer says 02F

"F02" is a Long Drain error code. This indicates that you have an obstruction in the drainage system. More than likely you probably have a clog in the drain pump. The following link explains:

    http://www.fixya.com/support/r615268-f02_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

Included is a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump to clean. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.

If you have any questions about this repair, or need additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

NOTE: If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.

Error code fh the and the machine would not drain

I know you said you had done all this, bhut these are the commentsstraight from CD manual.

Kenmore Elite 2 front loading washing machine. About every 2 minutes the cycle stops and flashes an "f" then an "h" on the display over and over again. **

That error code can be the result of no water detected entering machine after 30 seconds or pressure switch (water level control) activation not detected after 8 minutes of filling.

If there is no water in the machine at the time, make sure that both water taps are turned on, check for kinked fill hoses or plugged sediment screens in them and verify the water fill valve operation. You can read about the water valves used on appliances at the following link:

    LINK > http://www.appliance411.com/links/jump.cgi?ID=801

If there is water in the unit, verify drain pump and water pressure switch are operating properly, the pressure switch hose is in good condition and properly connected to the pressure switch. Also, make sure the water is not siphoning out of the machine prematurely due to an improperly installed drain hose (see the following link).

    LINK > http://www.appliance411.com/links/jump.cgi?ID=534

That error might also be caused by too much suds in the wash water like can result from using non-HE detergents.

Getting an FH error code during the cycle count down

The FH code indicates it is not detecting water fill at the flow meter. Since you say that the washer is filling okay, I would check the wiring between the flowmeter and the control board. A common cause of this problem on this machine is the wiring harness jiggling loose. Unplug and reseat the wiring harness and see if it clears up the problem. Also look for and clean out any corrosion build-up where the harness plugs in. Hope this helped and best wishes.

    Kenmore elite he3 flashing FH

The following link explains the "FH" error:

    http://www.fixya.com/support/r615354-fh_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

This can be a rather tough one to figure out, even with the error code explanation. I would recommend unplugging the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes first. This will reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). In many cases this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code reappears, check your washer installation to rule out the easiest possiblities, first. This means checking to ensure you don't have a siphoning condition, checking your drain lines and checking to ensure your fill hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Read through the link thoroughly and let me know if you have questions. I hope this helps you.

1.Check drain hose for kinks or cloggs
2.Check electrical connection at the pump and make sure the pump runs.
3.Check inside of pump for foreign objects
4.If none of the above fixes the machine replace the pump.
