I have a sharp carousel microwave and need to set the digital clock on it but dont know how. could someone please help.

Press the clear button twice and then the clock button. You can now enter the time. Press the clock button when set.

sometimes the clock resets after unpluging for a short period. when you restart / power up note the time it starts at generally 12:00 miday good luck gbw

On most Sharps, the sequence is:

Clock > 2 > 3 > 5 > Clock (for 2:35)
or
Clock > 2 > 3 > 5 > Start (for 2:35)

Touch STOP/CLEAR pad.
Touch TIMER/CLOCK pad.
Enter the correct time of day by touching the numbers above in sequence.
(for example: for 12:30, touch 1 2 3 0)
Touch TIMER/CLOCK pad again.

In most brandsof microwave oven, you set the clock by one of these combinations of key presses:

Clock > time digits > Clock

Clock > Clear > time digits > Clock

Clock > time digits > Start

If that doesn't work, please reply back with your brand and full model number.

Sounds like a drawer type microwave or a combo oven and microwave?

If your manual's instructions didn't fix it, you can try a hard reset.

Unplug it from the power line for a minute, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.
