Where can I find a maxim toastmaster 817 electric brunch pan

Hi.you need to replace the thermistor.Its the one who regulated heat.If it doesn't work it might been busted and needs replacement..

Your pan and seal are starting to disintegrate. I have a older model toastmaster in almost new condition. If interested I can sell to you via paypal. You can try it for 7 days and if you don't like it you can return it. Let me know if you are interested. It's not a 1142, it is a toastmaster 1170S, "corner bakery" model,,,,supposed to make butter too but I don't have the little butter lid, but you could still make butter with it. Toastmasters are my favorite too. They are quiet and have heavy duty pans.

The seller clearly has several of these in stock, and started the price @ 25.00 several months ago. I bought a couple at this price, but he has since increase the price (as the market will bear) to 40.00. ~Anita

I got the phone # 4 Toastmaster on line, called them. They said the pan was 2 old 2 have the plug in stock any more. I called a local repair man who said he could put a new cord in the present "plug". Has to solder & re-wire temp. plug.
