HP C6100 Series Support

Click on the Software $ Driver Downloads link.

Select your operating system from the drop-down menu.

A list of available software will be listed, and there is also a link to order a new cd.

Try plugging the printer in with no drivers and test it. This usually works as most printers do not need installation software because Vista has plug and play capabilities.

If this doesn't work, visit the HP website and choose drivers and software. Find your model number and download the Vista software or plug and play software.

Hello sir; replace cartridge whichever it necessary, better buy oem.

Go out to hp.com support and check under updates and downloads, you should find the updated software and drivers you need. I just went through this with my photosmart 8750,.

Are you having this problem when you are using the buttons on the front of the printer? Have you tried directly clicking on the HP Solution Center icon on your desktop, and scanning from within that program?
