Buzzing noise no matter what setting I choose, after the first 20 seconds or so, there is a buzzing noice that kicks on and off throught the different drying cycles - I can't locate anything about in my manual nor does changing the different cyle configurations seem to turn it off... It is quite loud and seems to signify a cycle but can't be sure.....for a quiet dryer this noise is quite irritating

I know this is old, but I just got this problem fixed and would like to help other people with this issue. It's the heating coil. It's faulty, and mine came that way, and i lived with it for years. When the coil clicks on, it rattles and buzzes super loud. Samsung charges 200$+ for the replacement heating element. However, my repair guy found that the part that came with the dryer was actually made by Maytag!! They swapped out the Maytag coils with a working part and the buzzing has stopped. Hope this helps.

Did you ever figure this out @flushigitty? I have the same problem and would love a quieter dryer.

Not sure exactly what part is causing the noise. But...I took off the steel plate at the bottom rear of the dryer. I found (with the dryer running) that the buzzing sound coinsides with the lighting of the glow plug (this ingnites the gas). This happens several times during a cycle because the dryer is programmed to turn the gas off and back on to maintain a constant heat during the cycle while still saving gas. I suspect its the electronic component responsible for turning on the glow plug thats doing the buzzing. will continue to search the web for more answers. cheers

I have a Whirlpool solid-state mark to washing machine powers on but when I hit the run button it just buzzes

See if buzzing noise stops after 10 to 20 seconds if not your cycle timer stuck. Change cycle to a different selection and try to start.

My powered mixer Behringer is buzzing

Make sure the buzz doesn't happen because of feedback of speakers into mics. When feedback is processed it often goes to a buzz instead of the usual howl.

Also check that you are running adequate inout into the effect since a very low inout will incur digitizing noise and loss of signal=to-noise ratio.

Carrier 58GS150-CB ignites but fan will not blow (Loud Buzzing)

The loud buzzing soud i found to be the fan blower motor. I removed the fan bracket assembly and sprayed a little WD-40 on the set screws and protruding shaft so that sqirrel cages could be removed. (Also marked position of set screws on shaft) once squirrel cages were removed I removed 4 motor mounting bolts. Cleaned sqirrel cages and housings with industrial strenghth rim cleaner to remove solid dirt and will replace motor and capacitor.
BTW thanks for nothing
