We have a LM the professional line, 81 LM 1/2 hp opener. We just had a professional change the coils and 2 days later the remotes (both) and the keypad stopped working altogether. We have changed the batteries and codes trying to troublshoot - that did not help. The hardwired button still works. any ideas?

Are the sensors lined up? They will get voltage without being aligned. Batteries good? Try opening the door by the button on wall or touch the contacts on back of motor with something conductive to act like the remote and see if it opens. This will tell you either remote or sensor issue or the opener itself

Most of the Hotel sets use a different remote to enter the hidden menus--the system that set uses was likely on channel 81 and where it was used they needed it to come on at a specific time----going to get that specific service remote and info on how to change settings---this is the issue with buying these commercial sets.
Zenith is part of LG but different phone numbers etc
Check alignment of the obstruction sensors .... they shoot a light beam across the doorway about 6 inches above the floor. One is mounted on each side of the door track near the floor.
Some electronic components become sensitive to temperature changes and will quit working. If you have more than one remote unit and the problem exists with them all then your logic board is bad.
What it is is the electric beams at the door are getting blinded buy the sun or out of line. They are the two black boxes on both sides of the door about a foot from the ground. Put a piece of card board in front of them not blocking the beam dut to block the sun. All that they are is safety beams for kids so they do not get hurt. If you have to move them to the top where the sun will not hit them. Sorry to say though you can not remove them all the way. Also make sure the lite on them is not blinking if so they are out of line.
