When I switch on the On/Off button the machine trips the mains electricity. It is a Hoover Performa 1100 Washing Machine

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but with such a major fault it is virtually impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what is wrong with your washer.

It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB, water inlet control valves, door solenoid as primary suspects. Secondary suspects could be main motor, drain motor.
I fear that you only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.

Hoover performa 1100 ac110 not emptying

After syphoning water out of drum, remove and clean filter located at bottom front left of washer, if there is a screw in the filter cover, unscrew this first.
Remove filter by unscrewing anti-clockwise.

Washing machine problem

I have a performa 1100. No 4 is the 40 degree is the normal cottons cycle which is the one I use. Tip- only fill the drum 3/4 full otherwise it struggles to drain and spin- I know!
