Re: haier hwr10xc6 thru-wall/window air conditioner
Does the unit have an energy saver or timer feature? It should be on the top front panel of your unit. If so, read and follow the directions in your manual. If you still have problems, contact Haier at their toll free Customer Service helpline.

If the unit has no existing service valves you will have to purchase some - and braze them into the freon lines. Valves (with valve cores) can be purchased at a AC Supply house fairly cheaply and then you can braze them into the lines. One in the suction (big line that gets cold) and one in the liquid line (the one that gets warm). NOTE: be sure NOT to weld this into the 'discharge line' (one straight out of compressor).
Once you have the two valves welded into the unit - you can then charge the unit.
Good Luck!
HEY< the only thing to tripp the breaker is commpressor pulling too many amps due to running hot by not getting rid of enough heat thru the back coils. I bet the inside of the back coils are getting plugged up! Thank-you-very-much!
If the Ac unit can not fit your window, you can put a wall unit, you don’t have to open the wall and mount a stable unit, you just need to buy a portable AC unit put on.
