I have a Candy Aquaviva 1300 front-loading washer/dryer. The cycle does not seem to continue through to 'spin'. Even though i can hear the machine humming nothing happens. As a result (I assumed) the water isn't draining and I'm left with a 4cm deep puddle in the bottom of the barrel.
I have a similar problem with my Candy WM801. However I cannot find the filter, it does not appear to be at the front... pulled it out and can't see anything obvious at the back either. Looking online for manuals, it should be simple shouldn't it!

disconnect the unit from the mains supply and remove the lid you will find a thermostat with a red button on it, press this and if you hear a click, problem solved to prevent fault reoccurring always let the dryer cycle finish its self as stopping it early can cause the heater box to overheat.
I have a GE and my friend has the same problem with his whirlpool. Removed the frt cover adn looking at the washer on the left side there is a clean out drain. My kids leave things in pockets and filles this drain up and washer will not drain. it is very easy to do
