The belt is part of the fixing assy, the only part that gets hot. The fixing web (cleaning belt) is due to be replaced, an engineer must be called to change it, they are quite cheap, the web has a copy count counter attached in the siftware to it, this will get around it for a short time, but you will get an error code when the belt runs out.

Try this to reset the belt counter and stop the message, enter service mode BY PRESSING "additional functions" then 2 and 8 at the same time and additional functions, all fairly quickly if it doesnt enter service mode, press the yellow reset button after each failed try. Once your in follow this,

(COPIER>COUNTER>MISC>FIX-WEB) HIGHLIGHT AND PRESS C FOR CLEAR ON THE CONTROL PANEL. This will reset the counter and stop the messages for now, until the belt run out anyway (which wont be long)

Hope this helps

I need instructions for replacing belts in a Pioneer CT-F550

There are usually NO instructions per se that Technicains read to do this kind of work- in 40 plus years of service I have never seen any. You take off what is needed and sometimes the cassette drive mechanism out of the machine to get to the area the belts go around. Replacing belts is not the only thing that is needed you also need to oil bearings, clean pulley and flywheels and clean lubricate slide plates and cam gears if there are any. It is not a 5 minute job.

When I start a machine there's an error code coming No. E000078-0001 and the machine tells me to shut down. Pse help because it does not work now.

Try cleaning or replacing photo-interrupter ps23, part #FK2-0149. It is located in the ITB positioning assy. which engages and disengages the cleaning blade for the transfer belt. This unit is located behind the gray cover that is next to your toner door. There are a couple of connectors and some black screws that atach it to the front plate of the machine.rsdurnin.gif

I need to know where the tensioner is located so i can tighten my alternator belt

there is a tensioner for the serpentine belt, it is spring loaded so it adjusts by itself. if the belt is loose then the spring in the tensioner has gone south. you need a new tensioner, about 50 bucks but replacing it is beyond normal owner servicing. there are many videos of folks replacing tensioners on youtube. note the tools they have, and most videos are shot from under a lift. if you have all those on hand, then you would not have asked the question. buy the part and take it to a repair shop.

In between washing the drum has become very loose and stopped the machine.

Assuming that it is belt driven, then most of the time this is the case of a broken or snapped belt. You will need to access the back of the machine and remove the cover off and you will most probably see it. This is for a front loading system which will have the belt located at the back, Replacing the belt is quite easy and this is a 5min job but be careful by not getting your finger squeezed when placing this belt. Hope this helps. Good luck with this.If you have any other question please feel free to ask.

How do you put the belt on?

Hi,
I don't know what make or model you have, but generally, the basic top-loading design washing machine has the motor located on the bottom of the unit, mounted vertically to drive the transmission under the drum. On the back of the washer, would be an access panel to expose the motor and your belt. Replacing the belt isn't as tedious as replacing a belt on a front loading dryer. Get the make and model info from your unit to your appliance part store to get the correct belt. I hope this helps... Good luck!

Need to replace carbon brushes on Indesit Omega 1200

The brushes are located inside the motor. Remove rear panel of washer, remove drive belt, from motor and drum, unplug the motor, undo screws that secure motor, and remove motor.
At the opposite end to the motor pulley, you will find the brushes located, undo 2 screws that secure the brushes, remove and replace brushes.
I would also check the pump filter, which should be located behind a removable panel at bottom of washer, unscrew anti-clockwise, remove and clean.
Please rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.

Cleaning belt

I am not an expert but in my place, south of Haiti, no good canon IR 600 technician, I was oblige to try to do the job myself.

First, I imagine that the cleaning belt is located in the Transfer or the Primary Corona. Because I have another machine IR 550 which has exactly the same coronas. I replace the coronas and the machine is working. But till now, I don't know how to replace the cleaning belt. If I had only one machine; I would still have the same problem.

Thanks for your assistance.

Yours:

Nazaire
