Keyboard not responding on a toshiba satellite

in that case you better go to a computer repair shop for a diagnostic. depending on repair cost it may be better to buy a new laptop.

If all of your keyboard is not responding, then it might be possible that the connection is loose. Youtube can be a good guide on how to easily open your laptop for resecure the connection again. If certain buttons are not responding then, your keyboard should be replaced.

U can use usb keyboard until You fix or replace old original keyboard.

try this first

a. turn over computer overnight and let it 'drip dry'

b. take a hair dryer on low heat and fan and GENTLY run it over the keyboard about 1 inch back and at angle

try that first and report back

you might get lucky

may be all the keys stuck due to any liquid destroy the keyboard try using external usb keyboard and connect it and try to work on it if it is working fine then you need to change the keyboard.

next to the F1 key and the windows key (2nd upper key and second to last key) are two screws, usually under some covering. unscrew and lift top edge of the keyboard towards the trackpad to lay face down. Undo the wire ribbon by lifting the grey or brown tabs and remove ribbon and keyboard. Then install the new keyboard by inserting the ribbon on the place. Lock down with the tabs and put the plastic prongs (close to the space bar) into the laptop body first, and then close keyboard onto the final position. screw back in and thats all. Since the spacebar is the most used key on the keyboard, it is likely a hardware failure of the spacebar itself. Replacement keyboards can be found on EBay and normally run about $20

If you have another keyboard to try so do it!

press and hold fn and press f11.it sounds like you activated the sticky keys
