HR7 No Electronic Readout

I purchased a Hobart HR7 and and HR5, both double stack at an auction. The lights work, the rottisseries turn and the ovens heat up but I don't get any any readouts on the electronic programmable control. It looks like the programmable readout is hooked up (I pulled the side panels off) but it doesn't turn on. Is there something I need to get this function to work?

I think it is either a fuse or something that burned out that won't let the display show up. Check all solder points on the inside and see if any are broken for sure. Nothing looks bad does it?

Possibly this is why it was at auction...

Let me know if you still can't figure it out and I will see what else I can come up with.

Thanks

I have just installed a Maytag built-in double oven to replace my old one (still working.) I shut off circuit breaker and reconnected wiring. The Control Panel and indicators on the digital readout all...

How many active terminals are there at the main terminal block in the new oven. Is this a single or 2 phase supply. Have you connected the active supply to all active terminals. If only half of the oven is working it sounds like it could be a problem at the terminal block. If so, you need to put a loop or bridge wire to the 2nd active terminal.
If all this was done correctly when connected the only other thing it could be is the electronic clock needs to be set to manual mode for the oven to work correctly.

Dislpay is blank but oven works

HI, you will need to replace this faulty ECC. the chip set that is soldered on this board is damaged as well as the led display. replacing the Electronic Clock Control will fix this issue.

the control board is fine and this explains why the oven is still functional. its the ECC that is faulty.

F1 code on display pad

That error means the main control board has a internal failure. The board will have to replaced to fix that issue. If you need detailed repair help with that visit the link below:
