No sound hi there i recently bought this behringer device but when running my 3 channel numark mixer through it to my fujitsu siemens laptop running vista, i cant seem to get it to work.can you recommend any software and/or drivers or anything else i might need please many thanks,warren

How old it is? They have a 3 year warranty. It sounds like an internal fault. Contact Behringer Support direct.

Behringer Mixer Issues

you have to tell your dj or studio program which device to use as output, but the dj controller doesn't have an audiocard so now i first have to search myself since my mixers have built in serato and another that annoying native i. No i'm just doing difficult while a numarkx5 stands in front of me and the main outputs go to your mixer and your usb is just for recording , but plug the mixer out in the mixer , main out in your monitors and calibrate the sound, but your studie or dj gear wants to know which channel to use and there fore you need to read the manual of your mixer and behringer. It's easy, but not from here.

The signal path to follow is explained below:

*Audio Source(Cd/LapTop/Ipod)output to,
*Numark 5000FX Input, Then master/main outputs go to,
*Behringer FBQ1502 Inputs, then outputs go to,
*Pro600 Power Amplifier Inputs, then power amp outputs hooked up with a speaker each side.

"PHONO" is ONLY for an old school turntable that would require a PHONO preamp, so that leaves, uh, LINE.

It's more than a matter of gain as Phono cartridges require special equalization to restore flatness to the sound recorded in a vinyl groove.

check the power outlet socket to which the amp and mixer is connected. if there is any loose contact in that power socket, this problem can occur. try to use a good surge protector with emi filter for connecting the amp and mixer.

Yellow MARK (!) means drivers are not installed or not working.
You need to go into device manager, find device, goto device properties to check for any errors or update drivers.
AS FOR , testing, there is built in tester in SOUNDS and DEVICES in the Control Panel.

1 - r u facing NO Audio/Sound issue...?
2 - is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

if ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....and no file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it….
