Zanussi fle1416w aquacycle 1400 xc , on some cycles it does not take in any water into the drum although water goes into the draw, clothes are totally dry at the end. Some times it keeps pausing and beeping waiting to be restarted. I can't see why this has started to happen, could you please advise me what has happened . Yours sincerely ATurner [email protected]

Check drain hose has not dropped down. that the height of the waste pipe is at least 50 cm high and the waste hose has not been pushed a long way down the stand pipe. all these things can cause the machine to syphon out all the water it has taken in. it more **** to happen on delicate programs with higher water level the beeping would happen after 5mins. comment back if this not the case

all washers have water level sensors and most of them are fitted with water level via filling a tube with water the switch is activated telling the machine to turn off the water
most of the time the tube gets clogged up with soaps etc.,
clean the tube and check the operational of the switch .

I have a zanussi Aquacycle FLE1416W and when you turn on it starts but no water is hard coming in and you can hear it draining then it stop with start light flashing

this could be an earth fault on the motor or heater.the electronics wont start if it senses fault current to earth.

Having a new floor in the kitchen and my faithfull

Buy a machine that will is the first thought , otherwise get the kitchen fitter to raise the worktops above the washer

You could try taking off the top lid and removing the feet underneath which will give you some room

Make sure that you place a sheet of plastic over the top of the machine from side to side and tape it in place if you do remove the top

That is in case you spill anything on the worktop which then drips inside the machine

Zanussi aquacycle 1200 smells coming from between the drum and casing.Suspect it is caused by a build up of slime etc.

1. Set the washing machine on the highest water level, temperature on hot and the wash cycle to normal.
2. Fill a gallon jug with hot tap water. Once the cycle begins, let it run for a minute or two, then stop the cycle, open the lid and slowly add the gallon of hot tap water. Don't overfill — you just want to raise the water level so that it is able to reach and clean the inside top rim.
3. Add 2 to 4 cups of household chlorine bleach and restart the cycle. In a couple of minutes, stop it again and just let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Afterward, let the cycle finish, and open the lid to air out the inside.
