Need the Software to download my movies

Those files were needed in case you wanted to restore back. Once you are happy, you can delete them. Or better still download the free version of CCleaner and it will clear all your old files that are no longer needed. I run mine every week.

You can always use a card reader instead of the camera to download your pics...then you don't need any special software.

The software disk contains third party programs of which Sanyo gave you license to use. You can download separate programs but you will also need to purchase their license. For the connectivity if you are using windows XP then just plug-in your camera into the USB port and it will automatically install so you can copy your photos and videos. fist of all make sure that the file type of the movie is compatible with your computer's software and that its not corrupted and the download was complete, if you downloaded it from lime wire or a program alike it would be a common problem, try downloading another movie and if the problem persists post it here,

First of all, you need three things to do this.

1. A fire wire port (or card which has the port and is installed to a pci slot in your computer).
2. A firewire cable which connects your camcorder to your computer.
3. Software or application for "capturing video" <--(not download video). Video editing software all consist of this application and is what you really want to acquire since it also allows you to edit you video.

This page allows you different options depending on your type of operating system. Be sure to choose the correct download to avoid conflicts. ie: windows xp, windows vista, and there is even a windows live download.

Once you download and install the software, plug in your device using your firewire cable and port, select "capture video using windows movie maker", then follow the directions or use help. Windows movei maker also has decent editing options considering it is free software.

You can go to the cybelink website and download a trial copy of the software that came with the camcorder. The software is ; Cyberlink Power Cinema, Power Directer, and Power Producer. The camcorder's format is also recognizable by Mac. Or if you dont want ot eventually buy the new software you can manually change the file extension of you movies off the camcorder to .mpg to view back your video using windows media player. Until you get editing software, you would not be able to edit your movies. Adobe Premier Elements 4 works fine with .mov files and Final cut pro.

I had changed my computer with new one but the problem the new computer software is windows vista my old verson system was windows xp how can i get activate my handicam connected to my system
