Radio/cd player went dead. Tried replacing fuses

Radio/cd player went dead. Tried replacing fuses ... no good. Took out from dash to put in another and plugs are different with many extra wires. Can I get a wiring diagram?
Do I just cut the wires from dash and splice onto new ones?

Where you bought the new radio.. they should have asked if you need a Auto adapter.
So if you put this radio in a GM, you get a GM adapter
If it was a Toyota, then a Toyota Adapter
These adapter take away all the trouble of finding the right wires because they are prewired for the vehicle you want to install

Do NOT Cut and Splice. Your local parts store sells an aftermarket radio plug in which connects to your factory harness and then you can splice in your radio into the new connectors ends that are labeled for what they go to.

Most all aftermarket radios have their own fuse next to the wiring harness plug. Depending on the brand, it may only take a few minutes to pull the radio out of it's sleeve to check for the fuse. Usually, you can pop off the trim ring to see what you are working with.

I have a honda odyssey 2001 the light of the panel are not workinkg all the rest of the lights are working i check the fuse and are ok only i did was change the radio and install a new one but did not...

I'm guessing you're talking about the dash light aound the radio. The dash lights around the radio share the same fuse with all the other lights that come on when you turn the parking light on. If the other light are working then your fuses are fine. What i think might have happen was when you took the dash cover off, the bulbs behind it might had burn out. You might want to try new bulbs.

good luck

My Radio and clock screen has went blank volume and controls do not work the clock does not work the radio plays and CD plays but screen is dead. 2001 525I BMW

it sounds like the Multi information display has failed (MID). It is the long display with all the radio controls on it. If you want to find a known good part they are really easy to swap out. Just remove the radio knob and if you look down in there, there is a place to put a T10 (i think maybe bigger or smaller) torx T10 screwdriver.if you turn it while pulling back slightly on the screwdriver it should come right out. It usually is the component that fails but as always you may want to check your fuses.
