Hello Sir, I am using a double door Haier refrigerator from last five years. It has two containers. The upper container is freezer and the lower container is refrigerator. Since yesterday, the lower container (refrigerator portion) is not getting cooled but freezer part has no issue and it is perfectly cooling. Request you to kindly suggest the proper and quick solution. Thanks. ~Kshirod Rout.

Please check inside your freezer for the working of the fan and then check inside the lower area for the air flow from the freezer. If you notice that the flow is less it is possible that the air duct is clogged due to build up of the frost. If so then you must shut off the fridge for about 8-10 hours. Once you find that the frost has cleared up then put the fridge on after the cleaning was done. Now check if the air flow is good, if not check the duct and the fan assembly for poor speed. However if the fault is clear now then you must check if the fridge is shutting off after 8-10 hours for auto defrost. If this is not happening then the fault can recur. Hence check you timer unit the heater unit and the thermostat for fault. Also any wire break on the cooling coils side of the electrical wires to thermostat./timer or fan or heater can be a cause. Try this out and check . Good day

Ok, I'll give quick solution for you. Tell your problems, I can confirm the problem actually comes from the freezer, due to excessive clotting in the freezer, precisely at the cavity insulation or air ducts from the freezer to lower the freezing container is covered by ice. so that the cooling in the lower container is not maximal.
How to repair:

If you understand and know where the refrigerator TIMER. you can set the timer to the defrost function. sign is the compressor will stop when the timer is set to defrost, the ice melting process by a part called HEATER , will occur in the Freezer.

If you do not understand, the easiest way is, Unplug your refrigerator electric outlet and allow you to not use the fridge for a while until you confirm yourself all the ice frozen in the freezer had melted. can be seen from a water reservoir that is located under your refrigerator. usually a tray that can be withdrawn. Ok then, hopefully this solution can help you

The ice door will not open like it used to. Now I have to reach in with my fingers to open it to get ice through the door.

Good Morning Misty, thank you for your post!

It is a good idea to clean the ice dispenser and ice container if the ice dispenser sticks or before contacting an experiencing technician to assist further.

1. First, stop ice production by lifting the wire signal arm to the "up" or OFF position (side-mounted) or the ice maker's On/Off power switch turned Off-set to the "O" position (rear-mounted).

2. Remove ice container by lifting up and out. Empty and carefully clean the container with mild detergent. Rinse with clear water. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Allow ice container to dry completely before replacing in the freezer.

3. Remove ice chips and clean the shelf and chute that supports the ice container.

4. Replace the ice container. Lower the wire signal arm on the ice maker to the "down" or ON position (side-mounted) or the ice maker's On/Off power switch is turned On-set to the "I" position. (rear-mounted) and the ice maker will resume production.

I hope these troubleshooting tips help you in some small way.

Can I remove the freezer compartment from my Haier HSE12WNAWW?

not possible to remove the freezer
the most likely [problem is that the seals around the freezer door are not sealing properly
that allows the atmosphere into the freezer and the humidity then freezes and turns to ice , causing the problem
adjust the door and change that door seal
when defrosting the freezer, remove all the frozen food, and place a fan at the open door
atmospheric temp air will defrost a badly iced freezer in around 1 hour with the use of the fan on high speed

Haier refrigerator does not cycle off.

There is always more than one reason why a refrigerator will not cycle off.
To diagnose the problem it is best to use a flow chart which will guide you through the issues to look for.
Try obtaining a service manual from Haier, this will contain a diagnostic chart for you to follow.

Leakage of water from freezer

The evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the back of the freezer.

I have a Haier Refrigerator, Model HTE18WAAWW-08. The freezer door has shifted down and the refrigerator door will not close smoothly. How do I adjust the freezer door upward to allow the refrigerator door...

Hi, this is caused sometimes by Teens and Adults holding the door open with there hand on the upper corner resting as they look for goodies, I do this. This sometimes will cause the door to loosen up and move down a wee bit. Look over the hinges on the door, they should be adjustable to see if they have moved. I am sure this is the problem. You can loosen some more, and raise or lower the door. It would be a lot better to have another set of hands to help with this. This will take care of the freezer door.Best of Luck, Sincerely,

Water always inside refrigerator sometimes ice forms

Sounds like you might have a condensation problem. Is the fan in your freezer working? If not it's not circulating the cold air. If it is you might have frost on the lower rear wall of your freezer meaning its not defrosting like it should and restricting your air flow. Last but not least you have a damper door in the upper left corner of your fridge that allows the cold air from your freezer into the fridge to cool it, that might not be opening up. Any one of these things would cause your water problem and a warm fridge section
