Hi,

At the bottom of this is a link to the manual, it shows details starting on page 22 of how to clean.

Remove the racks and pans from the oven.

1. Move the Lock Lever to the right-the Clean position.
When the oven temperature goes above normal baking/roasting temperatures, the door cannot be opened and the Lock Lever must not be moved.

2. Set the Oven Selector and Oven Temperature Control Knob to
CLEAN.

3. Make sure the clock and Start and Stop Times all have the correct time of day.
4. Push in and turn the Stop Time Knob clockwise two or three
hours. The OVEN HEATING Indicator Light will come on. l Use two hours for light soil. l Use three hours or more for moderate to heavy soil.
NOTE: Make sure the Start Time Knob is not pushed in.

5. After the Self-Cleaning cycle is completed and the oven has
cooled enough, the Lock Lever can be moved back to the left.
DO NOT FORCE the Lock Lever. Wait until it moves easily. Turn the Oven Selector and Oven Temperature Control Knob to OFF.

6. After the oven is cool, wipe off any residue or ash with a damp cloth.
If needed, touch up spots with a soapy steel-wool pad.

Stove/oven whirlpool model GGE 350LWSOO serial DY3052134 How do I clean the oven????

The model is GGE350LWS00; the self-clean cycle selection is a bit different for this Whirlpool double oven range. Make sure that the oven isn't above 400F before starting the self-clean cycle. Close both oven doors. Press Precise Clean for the appropriate oven; only one oven can be cleaned at a time. For the upper oven, the button is next to the Toast button. The lower oven's Precise Clean is directly below the one for the upper oven. (If the oven doors are open, you will see Door. If the doors are not closed within thirty seconds, the Self-clean will be canceled.) Then press Presets (to the right of the zero button in the number pad) to select the type/ length of the cleaning cycle. You only need to press this once if the default Medium cleaning cycle is appropriate. Press Presets additional times if you need to cycle through to the Heavy or Light cleaning options. The cleaning cycle should start 4 seconds after you last press Presets. If the door locks do not properly engage, the self-clean cycle will be canceled. If the lock mechanism is broken or not getting the message from the control board, you may need check the lock, the wiring or control board to determine the source of the issue. See https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/gge350lws00/1198/0124111.html .

The manual is available at Sears Parts Direct here: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/user-manuals/gge350lws00-whirlpool-parts-manual . The direct link to the manual is currently https://c.searspartsdirect.com/mmh/pd_download/lis_pdf/OWNM/L0909156.pdf . See page 17.

I hope this helps.

Need manual for self cleaning, please?

Hello Mary;

You can get a user manual at the following website.

Locate your oven model number. It is located on a label either on the face of the oven when you open the door or on the side of the door. Put he model number into the website and you will get diagrams, component part numbers and manuals.

http://www.searspastsdirect.com/

I suspect the user manual is not going to help you. Tell me the model number and what is going on.

Manufacturers offer the self cleaning feature on ovens because customers like this feature and the ovens sell. Yet, the manufacturers engineers have not been able to provide a design that will protect all of the components from self cleaning temperature of 900-1,000 degree F.

When you go into the self cleaning model, the door will lock when you reach 500-550 Degree F. The oven temperature will raise to 900-1,000 degrees F. The oven door will not open until the oven temperature drops to 500 degree F after the self cleaning cycle is completed.

Now, You have a high temperature limit switch in your oven. If this switch fails, you will loose power to your control board and you will not be able to open the oven door.

If you have never used your self cleaning feature, the high temperature limit switch may have failed.

Do to the problems involved with the self cleaning feature, knocking out the control board from heat, additional heating element failure, and other components; It is in my professional recommendation as well as my fellow technicians not to use the self cleaning feature. If you do, do not run it for more than 1 hour instead for the manual 4 hours.

How do I clean my Electrolux Icon Oven?

Which Electrolux Icon Oven do you have?

For most ovens, with a use a cloth and hot soapy water (do not use an abrasive cleanser or an oven cleaner), clean the door and the frame of the oven outside of the gasket. Similarly, remove the heavy amounts of spilled food (get rid of sugary or highly acidic food spills particularly) in the oven. Take the oven racks and oven rack support, broiler pan and insert, utensils and any foil out of the oven. Then close the door. If you have a single oven, press Clean. If you have a double oven, select the oven to clean and then press Clean. Select the duration of the cleaning cycle (either by hours (2,3, or 4) or cleaning level (Lite, Medium or Heavy)). Some Electrolux ovens have buttons for the cleaning level otherwise use the up/down arrows. Then press Start. The door will lock and remain locked until the oven cools after the cleaning process. For a delayed cleaning cycle, make sure the time is correct on the clock and press End Time and enter the time you want the cycle to end and then Start.

Make sure the kitchen is well ventilated.

The manuals are available for most from the Electrolux site. Start at http://www.electroluxicon.com/ and search for your model. (Either search on the model at the top right or under Kitchen Appliances) If you find a page for that model, it will have a Specifications and Guides tab. The manual is in that tab as a pdf.

I hope this helps.

HOW TO UNLOCK THE OVEN DOOR FOR THE DIETRICH OVEN MODEL DOP440BE1

Hi,
In order to unlock the oven you need to perform the following:
Look for a manual lever to unlock the oven. If there is one, it will probably swing back and forth horizontally, just below the upper edge of the oven door.
Swing the locking lever, if one is present, all the way to the left. This should unlock the oven. If there is no manual lever to unlock the oven, it may be unlocked using push-button controls.
Check to see if the oven is in a self-cleaning cycle, or has just completed a self-cleaning cycle. If so, the door will unlock automatically once the oven has finished the cleaning cycle and cooled completely, which may take several hours. You cannot unlock the oven before it has cooled.
Unlock the "Clean/Off" button. Depending on the brand and model of your oven, the button may display both of these designations or just one. If your oven door is locked, but the oven is not warm and is not in a cleaning cycle, unlock it by pressing and holding the "Clean/Off" button.

How do I start the clean cycle

The "S" in the model number stands for standard clean oven (vs. self clean), so unfortunately, you will have to use a can of Easy Off or similar oven cleaner.
