Clean the vent tubing for lint build up causes the moister sensor to put the burner into the check mode if clogged up.
if the vents are clean and the same problem persist, check the spark ignitor. it clicks when igniting the burner upon start up

Pushed dial, dryer would not start. Heating coil on, can feel the heat and hear ticking.

If the heating elemnts are coming on but the drum is not spining then the motor could be bad or the belt could be broken that turns the drum. The motor could also be on a thermal overload in this case unplug the dryer or turn off the circuit breaker for 15 minutes and let everything cool down. After turn the breaker back on or plug it back in and give it a try if you hear the motor running but the drum is not spinning then the belt is probably broken and will have to be replaced.

Heating coils are not broken and will not turn of

check the capacitor next to the motor it will have 2 wires coming off it this can stop the drum turning

Drum is not turning. Heat works

Sounds like the belt has broken or come off. This is usually inexpensive to fix. You just need to get it out in the open to replace.
