I have just bought a Fusion subwoofer and amplifier package, the EN-AT110, which is a 10" sub in an enclosure. i have wired it in correctly and after about 2 minutes of usage it just stopped working. no sound at all, if i pull out both rca leads then the sub pops. the blue power light stays on unless i take out both rca leads or unplug the power cables, so it is still getting power, and signal. could the speaker have possibly blown??

You seem to have everything in spec. check your crossover points and your speaker wiring. subs may be playing out of phase. A huge factor is subwoofer enclosure ...if the enclosure is not in spec with sub requirements the subs will not peform great.
If you have already bought the subwoofer, you will need to buy an enclosure for it. As well, you will need an amplifier and a compatible receiver for the amplifier.
Once you have all of these components, you will need to wire them all together. For this, you will need a pair of RCA cables to run from the receiver to your amplifier, a power wire to run from your amplifier to your battery, and wire running from your amplifier to your enclosure/subwoofer.

it sounds like you have a short someplace. also, if you have a multimeter, check the voltage coming out of the speaker terminals of the amplifier. if the voltage is higher than 4 or 5 volts, the amp is probably bad.
check all your supply wiring's specially the one that is connected directly to the positive terminal of your battery, it has to be of enough gauge to supply your amplifier's wattage, and it is has to be properly grounded to the body of your car.
CVR series do not have large power handling capabilities. Your subs will melt before the amplifier is used to its full potential. If the subs arent in a ported enclosure - do that. They both handle 500w rms - so the pr1000 is perfect. bass response is all in the enclosure!

remote wire turning on amplifier?
Ground for amplifier?
Gain improperly set?
Radio output crossed over above tuning freq. of enclosure?
Just suggestions. Not much info to go by.
You would be better served to go to a local shop and get the correct fittings to fit the connections, and use those to connect your subs. Just running the wire tips will result in loosed connections and plenty of headaches..
