Garbage on xp start

the problem is that i have 8400GSand it shows lines on XP logo at start when the drivers get loaded it get hanged. So plz help

it shows the vertical on the XP startup and do not load the drivers instead of login window it shows blank screen with a cursor on the left

..well this happens anytime you use windows starting.. :)

..I am just joking...please clarify want you mean by saying garbage? Is the distorded image full with lines across the screen ? No color? Snow? Melting? Please define it a little bit in order to be able to narrow the possible options down.

G32 board has no agp slot ....
and the card you are using is AGP NVIDIA GE FORCE XFX 5500 ...
g31 has 16x pci slot so buy PCI card not AGP...

make sure the drivers are for your operating sys, ie xp, vista, win7...

You probably are not going to do it with the E-Machine at all.
E-machines like Dell and a few others are specially designed integrated units which will do the job they are designed to do but have little or no 'upgradability'
Spending money on new components is inevitably a lost cause.
Save your pennies and buy a new general purpose machine.
