It doesn't sound like you are getting a true 230 volts to the timer. Measure from terminal 1 to terminal 3. You should read 230 volts. If you are getting 230 volts between 1 and 3, return the timer, it's defective. If you are not getting 230 between 1 and 3, then you'll have to have a look inside the electric panel to see what has been miswired. There should be a 2 pole breaker with a white and a black wire connected to it that goes out to the timer.
It seems that some early batches of this phone are more prone to present this issue. It's a hardware problem. Some posts around state that it might be caused by usage of the wired headset. Motorola is aware of this problem, and they seem to be either fixing faulty phones or replacing them for new ones. So, you must send yours to be repaired, under warranty. Contact either the seller you bought your phone from, or Motorola, for further details
Anyway, a possible workaround for this issue is to use a bluetooth headset for phone calls.
Really hope you are able to have your phone fully funcioning pretty soon. This phone is pretty amazing!
hello, two things could warrant your phone not to power on, 1.bad battery, which you said you checked and does not seem to be the problem. 2.a bad power switch,so i will advice you check the power switch if not faulty, but if it is you will have to replace it.you can get it at a mobile phone accessories store,
go to music library.. click the menu button and select "Switch storage device " option.. then select memory card ...The files on the memory card will be displayed..To switch to phone memory again..follow the same steps and select phone memory option....
