F20 on kenmore washer he2 plus , runs through the rinse program fine, only does it in the normal wash and other wash cycles and only when it goes to rinse cycle.

WASHER WILL NOT RINSE:
If your washer doesn't go through the washer rinse cycle, the most likely cause is the water valve. What happens is the water valve will stop letting cold water into the washer; therefore, once the washer gets to rinse it will either stop or not do anything during the whole rinse cycle.
This is because when you selected your water temperature, you may have selected warm/cold or hot/cold. The hot water came in and you didn't notice any problems. When it got to rinse, the cold water the cold water won't come in. Therefore, the washer does nothing.
The item to check would be your water inlet valve. Check it for continuity with a multi meter it should show Ohms or a closed circuit. To test it when water is overflowing unplug the unit and see if it still overflows or continues to fill. If it stops when unplugged. Then it is not a water inlet problem but an electrical signal problem going to ur water inlet valve. Possibly from the panel or board. You can also do a live volt test to see if it is getting the full 120 current, but be sure to unplug unit before testing as this is a live test.
Another test u can do to check the water inlet valve, first cut the water off and remove the hoses off the back of the washer. Then one at a time point the hoses inside the washer tub and turn the water back on. If you don't have good water pressure, turn the water back off and remove the strainer that should be in one end of the hose. Inspect the strainer to see if it is stopped up, clean it and reinstall it. Now repeat this test. If you have good water pressure now, reinstall hose and your problem is fixed.
If you still don't have good water pressure, the problem is in your house plumbing and you need to call a plumber. If you had good water pressure the first time you performed the test, the water valve is bad and needs replacing.
TIMER
If your washer doesn't go through the washer rinse cycle the timer may be the problem. Sometimes the timer gets stuck in the middle of the cycle or won't turn at all. If the washer runs, but the timer doesn't turn, the timer is bad and needs replacing.
Do you have anti-flood hoses leading to the machine. If you do there is probably a loose tube in the back causing a small leak. When the hoses detect that water is still flowing after a certain amount of time due to the leak it shuts down and causes the machine to turn off during the rinse/spin cycle
By the way my advice is free cuz God is good!

It will fill but once full the motor will only spin for a few seconds then stop

IT MAY BE DUE TO A RINSE PROBLEM?

Sud error code

I found that mine was having a sud error. I removed the lower front panel and removed the filter. It was full of lint and loose change. I reinstalled the filter and haven't had a problem since. On a side note I found something interesting laying inside. A service tech guide wich stated to do exactly what I had done.

My maytag clothes washer Bravo quiet series 300, keeps flashing a Sd error code. Or it may be 5d

What does the Sd code mean?

This code indicates that excessive detergent suds occurred during the cycle. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the wash action and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This process is necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds.

Concentrated detergents labeled 2x and higher will require a small amount of detergent based on load size. Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

Use only HE High Efficiency detergent for BravosTM washers.

Is "Sd" displayed and the wash cycle dial is flashing?

This indicates the washer was not able to clear all the excess suds from the washer. Re-select your desired cycle using cold water. Press Start/Pause. Do not add detergent.

Is "Sd" displayed and the wash cycle dial is not flashing?

If "Sd" is displayed and the wash cycle dial is not flashing, allow the machine to continue running, even if it appears that nothing is happening. When "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the wash action will pause to allow the bubbles in the suds to break, and the washer will add water for better rinsing. This rinsing process is necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds.

Is the drain hose kinked or clogged?

Make sure that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Remove any blockage from the drain hose, drainpipe or utility sink. Use the U-shaped drain hose form on the drain hose, and secure the drain hose.

To remove the error display, press Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel once.

If Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel does not work:

  1. Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
  2. Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start/Pause.

NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other questions above have been checked, call for service.

How do I fix my washer that only says 'sud' constantly and won't work at all? Whenever I try to start a cycle nothing happens. Whenever I push a button nothing happens. Please Help.

Hi please go to this above link, it is all explained at length what is going on and what to do.

This error code indicates that excessive detergent suds occurred during the cycle.
If a "Sud" or "Sd" error code is displayed, or if you can see excessive suds in the window:
There are too many suds in the washing machine. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When "Sud" or "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the tumbling and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This pause and rinsing are necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds. See the animation below for more information.
  • If you see "Sud" or "Sd" with the Rinse status light on, the washer is in the process of removing suds. Let the cycle continue.
  • If you see "Sud" or "Sd" and the Cycle Complete light is on, the washer detected too many suds during the cycle and your load may not be fully rinsed or water may not be fully removed. You may want to select a Rinse/Spin cycle for further rinsing.

Water not draining out w/ spin cycle

sounds like water may be going out but no spin in last cycle lean washer back and ck underneath for oil leak on top off transmission is a silver colored disk shaped object this is part of clutch if there appears to be a lot of oil on it good chance there is oil on clutch also causing it not yo spin..also ck to see if basket spins after short pause at end of rinse cycle ..start a rinse cycle at setting on timer with lid shut allow to run undisturbed ..once agitation stops in rinse timer should stop then start motor back up to drain ..there should be another short pause then washer should start spinning if does not pause suspect suspect timer if it does pause but doesn't start spinning suspect transmission..remember allow washer to advance by itself DO NOT RAISE LID TO CK..a small load of clothes will let you know if washer has spun

Agitator not working 90 series model # 11026912691

Hello aksward,
Welcome to Fixya.

Here are some suggestions for any Kenmore washers

Let me know how it goes. I'm still thinking and searching my repair manuals!

KENMORE ELITE TOP LOAD

Washer stops, won't fill, rinse or agitate

• Check the following:
Is the power cord plugged into a grounded 3 prong outlet?
Is the indicator on the Cycle Control knob properly lined up
with a cycle? Turn the Cycle Control knob to the right slightly
and pull to start.
Are the water inlet valve screens clogged?
Are both the hot and cold water faucets turned on?
Is the water inlet hose kinked?

• Does the water level seem too low, or does the washer
appear to not fill completely? The top of the agitator is
much higher than the highest water level. This is normal and
necessary for clothes to move freely.
• Has a fuse blown or is the circuit breaker open? If problem
continues, call an electrician.
• Are you using an extension cord? Do not use an extension
cord.
• Is the washer in a normal pause in the cycle? The washer
pauses for about 2 minutes during certain cycles. Allow the
cycle to continue. Some cycles feature periods of agitation
and soak.
• Is the washer overloaded? Wash smaller loads.
• Is the lid open? The lid must be closed during operation.
Washer will not agitate or spin with the lid open.

Washer still full of water

There is a water level indicator that might be clogged,or the timer isn't working properly, either way if you take the timer housing apart you might find a schematic to locate the parts inside the rest of the machine
