I unplugged my Sanyo DVW 7000 DVD/VCR 4 head Hi-Fi system for about a half hour, while we were moving furniture. When I plugged it back in I couldn't get it to work. I can turn it on manually and get the numbers of a few channels to show up on the DVD panel, but I can't get any chanels to show up on the TV. I made sure that the remote to the TV was working properly. The remote to the DVD/VCR won't work at all. I made sure the remote was aimed at the sensor, that it was not too far away from the DVD/VCR, that there was no obstacle between it and the remote, that I had pressed the correct button to use the DVD/VCR through my TV, and I changed batteries three times. Because of the area we live in, the only way we can get a good picture on the TV is to run the channels through the VCR. Does anybody know what is causing this problem and how to fix it?

Hi,
I am not sure if you unplugged all the cables from your VCR to your TV, If so double check the hook up. When you unplugged the POWER to the VCR the memory was lost. Try and find the menu or set up on the remote. Again the audio out from the VCR needs to be hooked to the audio in on the TV and the video out from the VCR needs to be hooked up to the video in on the TV. Keep trying !!!

Hello, i have a dvd sanyo dvw-7100 but I can not play a blu-ray dvd. Please what I can do?

The dvd player is not made to play bluray dvds. You need to buy a bluray player. They do not make a bluray vcr combo. Hope this helps.

No power to dvd-vcr player

check the circuit breaker. plug something into the outlet that you know works and see if it turns on.
dont think that there is a fuse inside. If the cables seems good ( ohm it out) then the unit might be shot. sorry...

No picture

Sounds really broken. Unless you can find a replacement DVD drive for low money , you may have to junk it.

How Do I hook up my Sanyo DVW -7000 To my Dishnetwork Box to record?

Connect the "Out to TV"video and audio on the DVR box to the "Video in and Audio In" on the VCR ...unless it's a single screw type connector on the DVR then hook THAT to the "In from ANT/cable" on the VCR
