KX-TD7895 problem This phone gets no dial tone and doesn't respond when the locator button is pushed. It doesn't ring during an incoming call. The phone line works fine.  I tested the battery by switching one from an identical phone and it still wouldn't work.

If you were using this unit and it was functioning, then most likely the handset has gotten damaged, and you would need to send the handset and base into repair (its not programming setting or a field servicable problem). If your testing this unit for the first time, the base may not "match" the handset. You can tell if they match by looking at the code on the little white sticker on the bottom of the base, and it must match the code on the sticker on the handset which is under the battery. So if they match, and they still will not communicate with eachother not much can be done until its put on a diagnostics and testing. You can google kx-td7895 repair to find a facility. Good luck
