Your disc that came with the printer is not compatible with windows 7.
Go to the canon website www.usa.canon.com.
1. At the top of the page click on support and drivers.
2. click on consumer and home office
3. click on printers and multifunction
4. click on pixma mp series
5. click on mp150
6. click on drivers and software
7. select your operating system
8. download drivers and software.
follow instructions for installation.

Just download the driver for that particular model direct from the canon website for free.

Please try this:

right click My Computer > Click properties > Click Hardware > Devuice manager > Select and remove the printer .

And restart the computer.

When prompted show the location of the driver files. This should solve your problem. Otherwise please let us know...
