My wifi does not work it doesnt allow me to search for wifi in the area the only way i can get enternet is if i connect it to the Ethernet

do you have wifi router in the home?(model#)
Is it your wifi router or owned by ISP.?
do you know your wifi login credentials.?
how far are you from the wifi router, try at 6ft as test.?
or try ethernet wired. to see if your enternet connection really work.
does it even have this option?

wifi is simple when it works then if not the not so simple at all.

what OS, we can NOT GUESS your operating system.
so where are you , home or star bucks.?
what is your connection, wifi, ethernet, or others?
a desktop pc can have vast ways to get internet.

1: modem dial up (i bet not this, nobody uses this now, 99.9)
2: cable modem, sat modem, fiber modem to ISP
3: USB wifi dongle, on PC and to local router.
4: PCI card wifi. , to router.
5: ethernet wired to router or modem direct. a cable wire. CAT5/6

one can even have direct wired ethernet to the cable modem
or you might have wired to wifi router (2 ways to connect there)

lots of causes, but I will not attempt to answer for all 6 ways.

First uninstall the driver from the device manger and then if its connected with the internet using a wifi connection check for windows updates if it has got any update driver for the network card
if this does not work check the website of fujitsu for the latest driver

Note that not all wifi is internet activated....................if yours is and has worked for you before then do well to let me know, so i can get back to you

If you want to connect to the internet, you have to find a free wifi zone. Now if have found a free wifi zone, Use this steps to connect to the internet.

1. On your Nintendo DSI, Go to your System Settings.
2. Search for " Internet " and click it.
3. On the Next Page, you will need to click on Connection Settings.
4. On the Connection Settings, Click on any Connection and tap the word None. If all the connections are already configured, click on any connection and tap the Erase Settings, this will erase the configuration for that connection.
5. On the Next Page, click on the Search For An Access Point. This will allow your Nintendo DSI to search for wifi connections in the area.
6. After the search is complete, it will list all the available wifi connections in your area, Be sure to choose the one with icon of an " Opened Lock "
   

Mobile devices simply do not have the ability to connect to Ethernet directly. You would need to connect the Ethernet/Internet to a wireless router and connect the phone to the router via WiFi.

your router is not configured.... the connected light should glow... or the telephone symbol and globe symbol should glow...

There is no ethernet conection on the wii, use the built in wirelesss card, make sure your modem dont have some wifi security settings on because can be a nightmare to connect through this.The normal wep security is enough

Unfortunately you have to have a wireless connection only or a connection with a USB cable which can fit into the psp's slot.Once u have your wifi internet, u can go to web browser and scan the area and select ur conn.U might need to enter ur router WEP key

Do you have both an ethernet and a phone cable connected to either your modem or your computer? If you have an ethernet connection, there is no reason to keep the phone cable connected. They are competing. Remove the phone cable and you should be fine.
